Over the Passover holiday we played a lot of games and we had a great time. My family tends to get crazy about one game and stick to it for a while. This time our favorite game was:
1. SET:
This is hailed as the “Family Game Of Visual Perception.” It is challenging but once you get the hang of it you can’t stop!
2. Bananagrams:
This is a great game that I love! That is because I always win- okay- almost always. I am very competitive at heart! If you are a wordie, like me, you will enjoy this.
3. Zingo:
This game is for the younger crowd, but that never stops me. Unlike CandyLand, which I find to be boring, this game is actually fun.
4. Perplexus:
This is not a favorite of mine. It takes too much concentration, but my kids and my husband love it.
5. Risk:
This is for the older 10+ crowd in my house. Very intense and gives kids a good sense of geography.
6. Rummikub
This is an oldie but goodie. This is the game we play the most in our home.
7. Monopoly
Our kids and their friends love this game. It is a classic and everyone usually has a great time.
